What size should I get? Big brim or small?
Thats easy. you know what suits you best. If you have a narrow frame or are short - the small brim is a must. If you are tall or have big hair, or a big presence and want a bit of drama for your outfit - then the big hat is the only choice. Beach? Big hat. Garden? smaller brim. Or buy both....
can I return or exchange?
I can either refund or exchange. It's seriously not a problem..
What happens if I get my hat wet?
Give it a good shake - then either dry it out in the sun (hat fully unfolded of course) or iron it. Yep, you heard correctly - put that iron directly down on the hat and give it a good "pressing" as we used to say in the olden days.
Will they fade?
Yes - gently - Sunlight will fade the intensity of the darker colours over time. But if you don't want it to fade - spray it with sunscreen - or bring it inside with you when you come back in out of the sun.
Are they all exactly the same colour as in the picture of the colour I choose?
Each hat is individually made from dyed raffia "fabric". This means that there WILL be colour variations. But the underlying tone is exact. However, if you are unhappy with the colour we will happily exchange or refund. Modern smartphones can be a teensy bit tricky with their colour correcting programs - and the colours of the hat vary if you photograph them in sunlight or shade.
Can I put them in the washing machine?
Err....no. you don't put your handbag in the washing machine - so don't out your hat. You can wipe it clean with a wet cloth if you drop sunscreen or something on it - but remember, raffia is a natural fabric made out of plant fibre.
Can you gift wrap them for me ?

Where are they made?
Madagascar. That is the little island where the penguins come from. No, seriously though - they do come from Madagascar. A small african island that up until twenty years ago was a colony of france.
I'm worried that they will blow off - how can I keep them on my head?
I get asked this a lot. But seriously - it just doesn't happen. It might be the depth of the crown - or just simply the aerodynamic design but seriously they don't. blow off easily.
You can attach a hat elastic if you are really worried - and that is a fabulous solution.
What colour will suit me?
Women tend to know exactly what colours suit them - but often they opt for the safe neutrals - Beige, Natural and Black, But the instant they put on a colour that they know suits their skin they simply GLOW! Come on - be a devil, Choose the colour that you really know suits you.
Can I squash them up and stuff them in my suitcase to travel?
Yes - roll, fold or crush - they can be stuffed i handbags or under the car seat. Stop worrying.
